Nothing can be said still as to the injured driver will recover or succumb to injuries as heavy boulders have badly damaged the vehicle and grievously injured the driver having been admitted at the hospital.
Falling of boulders from the mountains during monsoons have become a common feature with several occupants of the vehicles meeting the fatal end after the grievous injuries.
In Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and even Jammu and Kashmir several such deadly incidents have taken place killing the car occupants while commuting on roads.
There have been more than 1500 landslides in Uttarakhand during monsoons in various locations majorly on the route of Char Dham Yatra resulting in several fatalities.
In fact the widening of roads under the Char Dham Yatra project have been a spoiled sport with hundreds of incidents of fatal landslides and boulder falls being reported on this route.
