IItian Abhay Singh’s conversion to renunciation ” VAIRAGYA” giving interviews to TV channels in Kumbh go viral in social media
A graduate from IIT Mumbai in space engineering in 2012 having embraced ” renunciation” ( Vairagya ) stationed at Kumbh Prayagaraj these days with his interviews in ANI and various television channels going viral has become the talk of the town at the Kumbh and elsewhere in the country especially in social media. Speaking fluent English originally hailing from Haryana Abhay Singh sounds to be extraordinarily brilliant while speaking to mediamen talking fluently in quantum physics , space engineering and various aspects of science and philosophy impressing one and all with his growing hair and half naked body with garlands sitting inside a tent at Prayagaraj, Kumbh township.
Speaking effortlessly in English, Hindi with an intermittent laugh and answering to every questions of different channels turnwise Abhay Singh did his IIT in space engineering and also worked in several companies finally going to Canada at the call of his sister but coming back to India again leaving a lucrative job as according to him he was never satisfied with what he was doing.
After completing his IIT from Bombay in space engineering and thereafter teaching students instead of going for attractive jobs he preferred doing photography which was his passion and diversifying in other fields never wanting to earn money, taking life very lightly. He authored a book, diversified in photography, teaching students, working in Naraina in a good company , then going to Canada on his sister’s call, working there for a year in a reputed company and finally leaving the job and coming back to India. In between he had been to Manali, Kasaul, then to four spiritual destinations of Uttarakhand on foot and meeting sadhus, living with them and experiencing their lifestyles and living habits etc. When asked that people say him to be an essentric, a man boasting about his IIT degree which actually is not his and many other taunts to expect his answers in abrupt anger Abhay Singh laughs and responds to the TV reporter saying ” you can google and see his IIT degree , his articles on science etc to substantiate their doubts. As far as his being a Sanki being essentric is concerned he is happy to hear that as he is focussed on how a future mission of embracing Vairagya after finding every achievement of his in life of no value. I am now pursuing my future life being in ” Vairagya” renunciation on the directions of lord Shiva who is guiding me in every future endeavour of mine said Abhay. About his initial journey Abhay says that his parents used to fight and wanted him to pursue IIT or quality the exam as a civil servant/ IAS but I wanted to lead a life of a freeman understanding life from close quarters. I preferred to go away from my parents and chose to pursue my IIT from Mumbai and qualified it but the Almighty had chosen some other path for me and after achieving so much I have come to the conclusion that “Vairagya” from the materialistic world is the best alternative to reach and achieve the ultimate in life. Hence on the direction of Lord Shiva I am at Kumbh choosing “Vairagya” ( renunciation) over materialism said IItian Ajay Singh. There is a beeline of prominent TV channels to interview IITian turned Sadhu in Kumbh Prayagaraj and Abhay is obliging everyone from the television channel turnwise with no sign of annoyance.
