The ED is not to re examine the previous statement of former Congress chief n MP Rahul Gandhi and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi who had said that late Moti Lal Nehru Vohra dealt with all this. It may be recalled that Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were grilled for several hours during the last fortnight at ED office with Rahul Gandhi facing tough questioning for five days and Sonia Gandhi fir three days. There had been protests in Delhi and other states of the country, including arrests of Congress leaders and workers including Rahul Gandhi and 65 MPs being arrested while marching from parliament House to Rashtrapati Bhawan and Vijay Chowk. Yesterday the Congress complained of barricading of the AICC office at Akbar Road, and Sonia’s residence 10 Janpath. Meanwhile, before attending the Congress parliamentary party meeting angered Rahul Gandhi while responding to the questions of media at parliament precincts said that the opposition leaders are being targetted by the govt. He is not afraid of prime minister Narendra Modi. Let them do what they are doing but I will continue to work for nation’s security, establishing harmony and keep on struggling said former Congress chief n Waynad MP Rahul Gandhi. Yesterday Sonia Gandhi too joined the other MPs of Congress n opposition in the well of the house protesting against the ED action etc. Meanwhile in another case on Wednesday on the recommendation of the Lokayukta, the Delhi L. G. has directed the Delhi Police commissioner to lodge an FIR against the five time MLA of Congress for allegedly preparing bogus identity cards. This case relates to the complaints filed against the Congress MLA in 2013-14 and the Lokayukt recommending criminal action against Ram Kishan former MLA who termed this action as politically motivated saying that he will fight it out in the courts of law.
