A badly anguished husband and wife leaving behind two school going children have committed suicide today by jumping in the Ganges at Haridwar.
The reason behind taking this extreme step was because of their being completely involved in huge debt not able to pay the hefty interest on the principal amount after having already paid tremendous interest.
Before committing this drastic step the traumatised parents of two children left behind a suicide note in Hindi mentioning that We are going to commit suicide as there is no other alternative except taking this drastic step. They mentioned that the Kishanpure related property comprising of a house and a shop should now be registered in the name of both the children. We don’t trust on anyone else except my parents. Our both the children will now be under the care of their grandmother as we don’t trust on anyone. We have already paid lot of interest and are not in a position to pay onwards. We will post our picture in WhatsApp after committing suicide. Good bye to this world wrote Saurabh and Mona Babber signing the Suicide letter.
Before committing suicide, both took selfies, sent it to their friends and jumped into the Ganga. The Haridwar police have already located the dead body of the husband Saurabh but the body of his wife couldn’t be traced till yet as the swimmers are already on the job desperately.
According to the information received from sources Saurabh Babber was a jeweller in Saharanpur running a jewellery shop. Due to some unavoidable circumstances he had to take lot of loan the interest of which was paid by him but couldn’t pay it any more including the principal amount. He was also involved in organising Kitty parties etc . Both the husband and his wife had no alternative but to commit suicide after they were unable to bear the loan with those having given them the debt behind them desperately. Both of them jumped in the Ganges at Haridwar with the dead body of Saurabh recovered but the swimmers are still trying hard to recover the dead body of Mona Babber. The parents of the deceased and near relatives have reached Haridwar badly tormented n traumatised.
