In Uttarakhand several journalists, advocates and social activists have been complaining that whosoever is opposing the current BJP government on any issue concerning them or the people at large against the government they are being rapped with false and fabricated cases against serious acts and our behind bars thus openly violating the constitutional norms throwing to winds all the constitutional laws.

There had been hectic skirmishes with the men and women police near the chief minister’s residence in which several protesting women were injured and unconscious.

Ms Baudai of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal who was one of the participants in this demonstration demanding immediate release of both the UKD activists and revocation of all the fabricated cases lodged on frivolous charges against Ashish and Ashutosh Negi said angrily that youths and women are the worst suferer under the current BJP government where those speaking against the government on vital people centric issues are being put in jail under serious fabricated charges as happened with Ashutosh Negi and Ashish Negi declared as extortionists and history sheeters. Everyone knows that Ashutosh and Ashish Negi are respectful office bearers of UKD and law abiding citizens. Ashutosh was Assistent professor in HNB university earlier, is a senior journalist and a practising advocate as well. There were hundreds of policemen and their seniors fully equipped with all the weapons having cardoned off the area. It may be recalled that Ashutosh Negi has been the clear target of the present ruling political dispensation since the day he exposed a scam of an intermediate College in Pauri Garhwal and demanded the CBI enquiry to expose the VIP in the Ankita Bhandari case approaching the supreme court of India. Ashutosh was earlier too jailed in another unsubstantiated case of SCST lodged against him in an unsubstantiated grounds says Ashutosh who is currently on bail in that case though behind bars on 14 days judicial remand in the present case for allegedly threatening a hotelier for extortion , the unsubstantiated and frivolous charges strongly denied by Ashutosh and Ashish Negi terming them as vindictive with the intention to avenge them. All these false cases were lodged against him with the intention to avenge him said Ashutosh by the ruling political party in government said Negi. Ashutosh Negi’s wife who is seving government department at Dehradun was also transferred arbitrarily to distant Pithoragarh though the Uttarakhand High Court had currently given a stay in this case after Ashutosh approached the High Court. The crowd in today’s protest rally has been swelling in thousands with angered processionists raising anti BJP and anti government slogans including slogans against CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.

During the protest demonstration and march to Chief minister’s house some youths were so badly angered that they literally tore the huge posters and hoardings of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami with police looking towards them spectator.
