Indian Youth Congress today did Parliament Gherao against the rising unemployment in the country, “Naukri Do, Janjeere Nahi”

New Delhi, 25 March 2025: Indian Youth Congress today organized a massive Parliament gherao against the rising unemployment across the country, “Naukri Do, Janjeere Nahi” under the leadership of National President Shri Uday Bhanu Chib . Several Youth Congress activists including the IYC chief Chib was literally lift by legs by fours policemen and dumped into the police van.

During this, thousands of Youth Congress workers gathered at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
General secretary of Congress Party and former Youth Congress President Randeep Singh Surjewala, Secretary, AICC Neeraj Kundan addressed all the workers present.
Prior to his arrests the IYC chief Uday Bhanu Chib while addressing the protesting activists of Youth Congress said that the inhumane manner in which Indian citizens have been sent to India from America with handcuffs and chains on their feet, this is extremely shameful.
This is an insult to India and Indians on the world stage said IYC chief.
More than 100 Indian citizens have been sent wearing handcuffs, but as usual Narendra Modi and his government are silent on this entire matter, why? Asked Uday Bhanu Chib.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have to answer on this matter he asserted saying that this incident has deeply hurt the honor and respect of India, which cannot be tolerated at all.

President of Indian Youth Congress Uday Bhanu Chib also said that the Central Government and Prime Minister Modi should answer the insult of Indian citizens in the Parliament as soon as possible and explain how they allowed this to happen and also explain what they are doing to end the unemployment of the youth of the country. He said : Today the youth of the country have come out on the streets to demand answers from the anti people government adding that the Youth Congress will continue to fight for the rights and respect of the citizens of the country, until justice is done to the citizens of the country.
Criticizing the BJP government ‘s budget the IYC chief Chib said that the budget brought by the Modi government is an “anti-youth budget”. Except for 3.2 crore people, the rest of the 140 crore people of the country have been cheated – there is nothing in this budget for employment, reducing inflation, removing economic inequality. After listening to the entire budget, it is clear that Narendra Modi and the BJP government are trying to woo the voters of Bihar and the middle class said the IYC chief.
He said : The Chief Economic Advisor of the Government himself has accepted this in the Economic Survey. He has accepted that the Modi Government has become an obstacle in economic progress today. The Government should not come in the way of economic development. Only then will the people and industries of India move forward. The priority of this Government is neither employment nor inflation. This budget is good for big millionaires and a few officers of the Government. In this budget, we are not seeing the strength and resolve that was in the budgets of 1991 and 2004 said Chib. In this budget, the youth, poor, middle class, farmers, small industries of the country, all have been ignored asserted IYC chief. During this demonstration, many Youth Congress workers were marching from Jantar Mantar to Parliament House led by Uday Bhanu Chib and after this Delhi Police stopped them by barricading and detained many workers.
During this protest, all the State Presidents of Youth Congress, all the National Executive members and many Youth Congress workers were present.
