HUNDREDS OF CONGRESS MEN PROTEST AT CM’S RESIDENCE AGAINST PAPER LEAK SCAM

Hundreds of Congress activists including activists of its frontal organisations Mahila Congress, Youth Congress and NSUI today protested in front of the Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s residence raising anti government slogans demanding his resignation and conduction of the CBI probe to be led by the High Court judge of Uttarakhand including cancellation of the examination whose papers were leaked with new examinations to be conducted next month.

The protestors were led by the former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat ,State resident Karan Mahara, Pritam Singh senior MLA and Congress leader, leader of the opposition Yashpal Arya, Ganesh Godiyal, Mahila Congress Uttarakhand chief Urvashi Rautela and others.

According to the latest news hundreds of enthusiastic Congress workers raising anti government slogans and holding Placards reading ” Paper Chor Gaddi Chod”, participated in the the “march to Chief Minister’s residence ” called by Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress to investigate the #paper_leak_scam in the #UKSSSC graduate level recruitment exam.
The Chief Minister has announced a CBI investigation into the paper leak case, and the SIT formed to investigate the matter is also underway. The BJP’s history of announcing a CBI investigation is no secret said Mahila Congress chief Jyoti Rautela.

Today, through this march, the Congress Party is making three major demands from the government keeping in mind the interests of lakhs of unemployed colleagues and to maintain the purity of recruitment examinations said Rautela.
The Congress leaders demanded : The CBI investigation into the paper leak scandal should be conducted under the supervision of a sitting High Court judge.
The graduate-level recruitment exam should be cancelled and new exam dates should be announced soon.

During the demonstration the protestors violated the prohibitory orders and broke the police cardon having skirmishes with the police and finally courted arrests. They were loaded in several police vans and taken to the police stations for further necessary action. The senior Vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Suryakant Dhasmana also counted arrest raising Anti government slogans.
