Heavy Landslide of boulders blocks traffic at Badhkholu on Satpuli , Banghat Pauri NH road number 33.

The road blockaded after landslide and falling of heavy boulders have become a common phenomena during monsoons resulting in blockage for hours together leading to tremendous inconvenience to the passengers, tourists and pilgrims.
In Garhwal division the landslides are in large numbers as compared to the landslides in Kumaon division.
The reason being, the greenary being tremendous there and majority of forests cohesive with deforestation negligible.
In Pauri Garhwal, Satpuli road going towards Banghat and Pauri via Kandolia on a portion of the road at Badukholi a heavy Landslide took place with heavy boulders blocking it leading to jam and inconvenience to the commuters for hours together.
According to a local resident, freelance journalist and activist Jagmohan Dangi despite an emergency situation the JCB machine has not reached the spot even after three hours.
On Satpuli Banghat Pauri route there is lot of traffic with people coming from Delhi and other parts of Garhwal suffering badly in view of such blockaded due to Landslides.
Today’s landslide on NH 33 from Satpuli to Banghat Pauri at Badkholu lot of heavy boulders and muck has come due to landslide blocking the entire route tremendous inconvenience to the commuters.
The authorities concerned should pay immediate attention to the drastic situation and remove the boulders on the road to enable each flow of traffic jammed for hours together.
