Harish Rawat ridicules the BJP leaders and minister for coming to the rescue of the erring minister Aggrawal feeling pride to be outsiders migrating to Uttarakhand
After the BJP leaders coming out in the open to safeguard the parliamentary affairs and finance minister of Uttarakhand arrogant Prem Chand Aggrawal over his indecent and abusive comments against the Pahari Community addressing them as “Saale Pahaadi” the main opposition of the state Congress party leaders are also gunning them down with their counter statements. This has basically become the war of gaining the maximum political mileage but the obstinate BJP is least worried having always protected Prem Chand Aggrawal despite his anti Pahadi attitude several times , earlier publicly thrashing a person of Rishikesh Negi in public with a video going viral thus bringing bad name for the saffron party including appointing several relatives arbitrarily in Delhi Assembly when he was the speaker etc. Then too there were tremendous demonstrations in Rishikesh and several parts of Uttarakhand but the state CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and top leaders were completely unnerved taking no action against him. Recently the Forest minister of Uttarakhand Subodh Uniyal came out in Aggrawal’s open support, supporting his statement with tremendous oratorical skill as if he has done a great job, than taking him to task. The minister said that in Uttarakhand except the original tribes all other have migrated from other states like Bihar, Rajasthan, Bangal and UP, therefore it is for all not only for Pahadees. Uniyal said his predecessors have come from Bihar and Bahuguna from Bengal etc. This led to even more annoyance among the people of Uttarakhand. On 2nd March, the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal is staging a massive rally in Dehradun , Uttarakhand gheraoing the chief minister’s residence. Meanwhile, the former chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat has criticised though without naming the forest minister of Uttarakhand Subodh Uniyal on his recent statement on FB writing : There is a competition among some leaders of Uttarakhand to tell which part of India their ancestors originally belonged to and by what name they are addressed in that part today! It seems that those friends of mine are not liking the nomenclature and caste sense given by this Himalayan region or it is creating inferiority complex in them.
It is the greatness of the Himalayas that the ancestors of these friends of mine were nurtured, fed, nourished and blossomed by the Himalayas and today these friends of mine are never tired of calling that lap a rented one. Blessed is BJP, you have a storehouse of talented people ridiculed the saffron party leaders by the former CM Harish Rawat through his post of FB.
Dehradun based founder of SDC and renowned social activist and author Anoop Nautiyal who always remains proactive in sensitising the people of Uttarakhand and its capital in issues like environment, congestion, civic and law and order issues including the structural mismanagement of the capital etc has on X reacted sharply on this issue writing : It is tragic that several political leaders in # Uttarakhand have lately destroyed the social fabric in an otherwise peace living state. They are unnecessarily aggressive and lack manners and grace. Such people need a variety of communication and body language oriented crash courses obviously ridiculing our ministers and so called leaders.
