Harish Rawat relieved from AIIMS after 16 days. Was infected with Covid 19
The national general secretary of Congress and the former chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat has been relieved from All India Institute of Medical Sciences private ward on Sunday, 11 th April after he was admitted here on 24 th March alongwith his wife. Former Uttarakhand CM had contracted Corona virus alongwith his wife Renuka and two daughters.
When Rawat’s condition deteriorated in a Dehradun hospital he was urgently airlifted through air Ambulance and admitted at AIIMS, Delhi. His wife Renuka was admitted a day later while both daughters remained in home isolation at Dehradun.
At AIIMS after few days Rawat was admitted in ICU but his blood pressure, blood sugar, oxygen related parameters were reported to be under control.
Today he was relieved from the hospital after sixteen days of complete recuperation under medical monitoring of the senior doctors, cardiologists as well as neuro surgeons.
Before emerging out of the private ward of AIIMS Harish Rawat got photo clicked with the staff in total Covid uniform and tweeted thanking the prime minister Narendra Modi, Union defence minister Rajnath Singh, union health minister Dr. Harshvardhan, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, his leader Rahul Gandhi and general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, former UK CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni, HRD minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank n Mata Mangala Devi of Hans Foundation etc.
In a statement Harish Rawat thanked the PM Narendra Modi n union ministers as well as Sonia Gandhi n Rahul, Priyanka etc for giving him a lesson to adequately take care of his healthy parameters.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the employees at the lowest ebb at All India Institute of Medical Sciences who had risked their lives to take care of his health including Dr. Pant, Amit Negi, Dr. N.S. Bisht n other paramedics of Dehradun hospital.
In a tweet he wrote: Hail life , My destiny has written more service to the society. By the grace of God and your blessings, am recovering very fast. I from the core of my heart thank PM Modi, Rahulji and Soniaji, who guided me to look after my health, tweeted Harish Rawat.
