Harish Rawat n his family infected with Covid 19. CM TSR is already in home isolation
After the Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat getting infected by Covid 19, the extremely mobile and active former CM and AICC general secretary Harish Rawat and his entire family has been infected with Corona virus on Wednesday.
While the Uttarakhand CM got infected two days ago and is in home isolation being closely monitored by a team of senior doctors, signing official files from his official residence in Dehradun, the former CM of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat and his family too have been sent into isolation for minimum fourteen days.
This information was given by twitter friendly senior Congress leader Harish Rawat on Wednesday evening on his Twitter handle.
The chief minister had tweeted : Finally, the Corona wrestler has taken him under its grip. This afternoon I had taken a formal decision to get myself, my wife, daughter Submit Rawat, n Puran Rawat tested for #Corona# However, I was hesitant to get myself tested for Covid 19. Then I thought I should get myself tested. And it was good that I got myself tested as well. After the report arrived me n my family of four all were positive with Covid 19 infection. All those who had come into my contact till this evening should get themselves tested as this is necessary to exercise precaution tweeted Harish Rawat.
If the advise of senior Congress leader Harish Rawat is to be taken seriously then hundreds of Congress workers and leaders should get them selves tested for Covid 19. This is so because the entire Uttarakhand and the nation knows that the former Uttarakhand CM and national general secretary Harish Rawat had been continuously been on the state’s political tour holding umpteen meetings n interactions with hundreds of party leaders n workers even while participating in Congress’s protest demonstrations and sit in in Garhwal, n Kumaon region of Uttarakhand including at Haridwar n Rishikesh. Similarly, the Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat had been participating in several meetings in Garhwal n Kumaon regions not wearing the masks, the vedios n pics of whom without masks had gone viral in the social media etc.
The moot point is, if the destiny moulders of the people and state, the leaders sitting at the helm of affairs exhibit such a leniency n laxity in obeying the pandemic norms, how could they morally advise people of the state to follow the strict pandemic norms say the news analysts.
It may be recalled that the former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, cabinet minister Satpal Rawat, his wife, family members, followers, several MLAs, former CMs staff members had been infected with Covid 19 including several senior bureaucrats n an OSD to Trivendra Singh Rawat succumbing to this pandemic.
