Hooliganism exposed in Nainital_District_Panchayat elections!
Nainital, our pride Nainital whose District Panchayat has an unprecedented respectable history where the God of Justice sits in the respectable High Court and the members of Zila Panchayat standing in line to vote in support of the Congress party were picked up using hooliganism.
Our promising Dalit leader former MLA Mr. #SanjivArya is assaulted. The kurta of a respected member is torn. This is a blot and not only Nainital but the whole of Uttarakhand will have to stand up against this hooliganism.
It is the responsibility of the government to bring those voters and make them stand in line and cast their votes said Harish Rawat adding that he was watching our public representatives showing their certificates live, those representatives are showing their certificates themselves, what is happening?? This is a matter of great concern said Rawat.
I heard that Leader of Opposition Shri Yashpal Arya ji was also pushed and he was also abused. I have requested him to approach the honourable #HighCourt and request the honourable High Court to get all three or four voters of ours to cast their votes and only then the result should be announced wrote Harish Rawat on his FB post.
Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand High Court ordered ten members, who had approached the court in response to a petition filed by a group regarding the arrest of some members who had come to vote for the Nainital Zila Panchayat president and vice-president, to vote under High Court security.

Today 27 elected members were to vote for the post of Nainital District Panchayat President and Vice President. News came that some members were kidnapped in the morning. Regarding this, the Congress-backed party went to the High Court with ten members.
The court summoned DM Vandana Singh and SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena online. Both appeared online.
The Court heard Advocate General SN Babulkar and CSC Chandrashekhar Singh Rawat along with counsel for petitioner Avtar Singh Rawat and D.S. Mehta.
The Court has directed that Devaki Bisht, Poonam Bisht, Pushpa Negi, Nidhi Joshi, Anita Arya, Jishant Kumar, Arnab Kamboj, Meena Devi, Hem Chand Nainwal and Sanjay Bohra, who were present in the Court, be taken to the polling booth under the protection of the High Court.
