Haridwar MP and former CM writes to DGP about a fraud of fifty crores urging him to take immediate legal action against the culprits informing him about the ATR

The former Uttarakhand chief minister and Haridwar Lok Sabha MP Trivendra Singh Rawat has written a letter to the Director General of Police that a person named Ankit Singh Rawat son of Suban Singh Rawat resident of Uttarkashi and Puja Chamoli daughter of Subhash Chamoli, wife of Ankit Singh has committed a fraud of fifty crores with Rakesh Chandra Bahuguna, Jagdish Chandra Bahuguna, Abhishekh Parikh, Paramjit Singh and others residents of Dehradun and Mussourie etc and duped them of the above amount for which written complaints / FIRs had been registered in various police stations. However, no action has been taken in this regard till yet said Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat.
The former Uttarakhand CM and Haridwar MP said in his letter to DGP, Uttarakhand that such frauds in capital of Uttarakhand bring bad name to the state. He urged the DGP to take immediate suo moto cognizance / consideration of this fraudulent act and initiate immediate legal action against the culprits bringing them to justice with information about the action taken report given to him at the earliest. This letter was written in 16 th July, 2025 and posted on social media now. In Uttarakhand the building and land mafias with alleged collusion with the powers that be are selling lands on massive scale snd commuting frauds with the innocent buyers. The recent case of the BJP Yuva Morcha former general secretary of the state who has been arrested for compelling Jitendra Negi to committed suicide as he has duped him of nearly forty lakh rupees in a land deal. Corruption has reached its peak in Uttarakhand and such complaints with no action have become the common phenomena. It’s indeed a wake up call for everyone.
