Hardened criminal Chota Rajan gets bail in a murder case but will still be in jail in other serious cases
Mumbai’s most infamous gangster Chota Rajan, once DawoodI Ibrahim’s closest associate and thereafter the greatest enemy after 1993 blasts, having been attacked abroad but saved, now undergoing life sentence on various serious charges in Mumbai jail , has today been granted bail in a case pertaining to the alleged murder of a hotelier of Mumbai Jaya Shetty with the judges asking him to furnish the bond of Rs one lakh first. According to the latest news Chita Rajan who was accorded life sentence in the case of murdering a hotelier Jaya Shetty in 2001 has been granted bail by the Mumbai high court in the condition of furnishing a bind if Rs. One lakh. The bail has been accorded by the two judge bench of Mumbai High Court comprising of judges Revti Mohite Dere and Justice Prithviraj Chouhan. However, despite being given bail Chota Rajan will be behind bars for other sentences n being under trial in several other cases of extortion, murders etc. After the conviction by the special court the two judge bench comprising of Justice Revti Mohite Dere and Justice Chouhan granted bail to Rajan in the precondition to furnish a bind of Rs. One lakh. However, despite being accorded the bail, Chota Rajan will be in jail in connection with several other cases related to extortion, violence, murders etc.
