Half burnt body of a 22 year old missing girl Vineeta since 4 December found in a Dehradun jungle
After much publicised Anita Bhandari case which is still under hearing in Court of law, a new tragedy occurred in Garhwal Uttarakhand in which a half burnt dead body of a twenty year old girl namely Vinita Bhandari was found in a jungle of Dehradun after the deceased girl went missing under the jurisdiction of Muni Ki Reti, Rishikesh police station in Dhaalwala, area since December 4, 2023.
According to the latest news, the senior police officers were informed after the body was traced in the jungles of Dehradun by the local police.
The dead body had been sent for post mortem.
The family members of the deceased were called to the spot to recognise the dead body which they confirmed as their daughter amid tremendous anguish with tears rolling down the eyes of the parents.
The police found lot of suspicious material on the spot and the forensic experts were called in immediately.
It may be recalled that the girl had gone out of her house on 4 th December for market but never returned back compelling her anguished parents to register a missing report with the police station.
Since then the police were on an extensive search operation finally tracing her half burnt body in a Dehradun jungle.
According to the police officer of Narendra Nagar Police Smita Mamgai she had received the missing complaint from the parents of the deceased on 4 th December and since they have been looking for her through CCTV footages and other clues, finally tracing her half burnt body in the Dehradun jungle.
