After being questioned for thirty hours Rahul attends ED hearing for the fourth day today accompanied by his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Today was the fourth day of member of parliament n former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi’s attendance at the Enforcement Directorate headquarter in Central Delhi where he is being probed on the alleged charges of money laundering in National Herald case, filed by the BJP leader Dr. Subramaniam Swamy several years ago. Till now Rahul Gandhi has been gruelled for thirty hours during the last three days. After a leave for a day granted by the ED he reached the ED office today at 11.15 AM accompanied by her sister Priyanka Gandhi who after seeing him came back. Priyanka had been accompanying her brother from day one to ED office. Today is the fourth day of Waynad MP and former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi at the ED office. His mother Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has also been summoned on 23 rd June as currently she is admitted in Ganga Ram hospital after her being infected with Covid. Priyanka Gandhi too had been to ED office last week. There had been number of protests and subsequent arrests in Delhi and various states during the last three days when Congress leaders and workers had protested at Governors’ houses against Agnipath Recruitment Scheme of the government as well as Rahul Gandhi’s alleged harrasment by ED. There had been protests in some parts of Delhi today as well. Yesterday, good number of Congress MPs and leaders, including Priyanka Gandhi had protested peacefully at Jantar Mantar, central Delhi and aired their opposition to the central government’s newly launched Agnipath Defence Forces Recruitment Scheme demanding its immediate withdrawal. A delegation of Congress leaders and MPs are also meeting the president against the high handed attitude of the police on Congress MPs, leaders n workers including airing their criticism against the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme demanding its cancellation forthwith. Meanwhile, the Youth Congress activists today stopped trains at Shivaji Bridge, in Delhi and squatted on the railway tracks raising slogans demanding immediate withdrawal of Defence Forces Agnipath recruitment Scheme expressing their immense disenchantment and anger.
