Gopalmani says while Ukhand and Himachal Pradesh have passed resolutions, Yogi Aadityanath has not fulfilled his commitment to grant Rashtriya Gau Mata status to Cow

The religious leader raising his voice to grant the official status of National mother to cow, Gopal Mani has expressed his serious concern over not coming true to the expectations to the protagonists of cow mother despite giving assurances in the Jantar Mantar Dharna in support of this demand whereas the assemblies of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh have already passed this resolution and send to the Union Government supporting their demand. He catagorically said that they will oppose those who has not supported their demands in this regard in the ensuing elections.

The leader of the protracted movement of cow protection and demanding Rashtriya Mata, status for Cow Mother, officially was addressing a press conference in New Delhi, PCI on Saturday. Expressing his anguish over not hearing to their long pending demand by the centre and state government, expect Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh Gopal manu said that the government has not given them permission to hold their congregation and peaceful protest in Ramlila Ground on 7 th November as well where lakhs of Gaubhakts from all over India were expected to participate in support of this demand. He added that being the law abiding citizens believing in peaceful protests they have now appealed their supporters at the pan India level to peacefully protest in their respective states and districts and submit memorandums in this regard at their respective state capitals and districts. In the past too in 2014 and 2018 thousands of people in support of Cow protection and declaring it as “national cow mother”, held a, rally at Ram Lila Grounds and presented memorandums to the central government but their demand went into the deaf ears of those sitting at the helm of affairs. Responding to the questions of journalists Gopalmani said that the time has come that those opposing this demand at the state and central government level should herd to their requests in this regard or be prepared to face the consequences.

It may be recalled that elections to five states are likely to take place next year and Gopalmani has said that those who have not fulfilled their demand granting national cow mother status will have to face the political consequences. He said that Mother Cow has been given a pious, status in various ancient religious scriptures as mother cow not a mere animal viz in Vedas, Puranas, Ramayana and Geeta and once Cow id declared officially as National Mother Cow ( Rashtriya Gau Mata) its slaughtering will also stop completely. He said that their relentless struggle and fight will continue unabated till their basic demand to declare Cow as Rashtriya Gaumata is nit fulfilled. Kindly recall that Gopal Mani had been relentlessly struggling for the last several decades raising his voice for Cow’s protection and demanding it to be declared as Rashtriya Gau Mata having been to various districts of all the states mobilising people in favour of his, demand. They has till now established more than 600 cow shelters at the pan India level being funded by subscription and donations by cow protagonists and various social organisations. He had also contested a parliament elections from Tehri Garhwal constituency in the national elections of 2019 against Maharani Rajya Lakshmi who is a three time MP from this parliamentary seat.
