Girl reportedly missing from Bagad village in Nainital and feared taken by maneater/ wild animal found in a hotel with a boyfriend

The news about a twenty three years old girl who was reportedly missing since yesterday evening from her village Talla Bagad ten kilometres from Nainital construed as having been probably dragged by a man-eater leopard or tiger or wild animal and killed turned out to be completely farce as she was found in a hotel with her boyfriend of a particular community. Several police personnel and the forest guards including some villagers of the area went in extensive search of the girl in the jungle after the police found her mobile cover, her slippers and clothes thinking that she might have become the victim of the man-eater. Since last evening till today afternoon the police personnel and forest guards who had gone into extensive search of the girl couldn’t find her, worked on another theory as there was no blood stains or indication of any struggle between the girl and the wild animal/ tiger. Kindly recall that a team of twenty forest staff under the leadership of range officer Pramod Tiwari with guns and torches extensively searched the missing girl since yesterday evening till today afternoon but of no avail as they were given to understand about the probability of her being dragged by a man-eater as is the case is the hills these days. However, when the police got a tip about the girl staying in a hotel with a person probably his boy friend the matter became sensitive with everyone surprised and shocked, especially the forest staff n the villagers. The police immediately took both the girl and the boy of a particular community into custody to avoid any tension and took them to Mallitaal police station . They are being interrogated. According to the police both of them were known to each other for the last five years.
