An Uttarakhand’s regional movie produced by Jodha Fims , Sanjay Joshi, Sudhir Dhar and directed by the first woman director of Uttarakhand cinema Sushila Rawat titled GHANGTOL meaning nervousness/ confusion is being released in thirteen cinema halls of the country on 6 March, 2026.

In the national capital territory Delhi and NCR Noida and Ghaziabad the movie is being released in eleven cinema theatres in all the directions East, West, North and South.
This is for the first time that a Garhwali movie is being released on such a vast scale in the national capital and NCR.
The movie is a family drama giving the social message of reverse migration and over hundred artists have acted in this movie, thus being the largest starting movie.
The Uttarakhand film industry has has progressed by leaps and bounds during this decade with good number of movies coming to theatres in Uttarakhand and different parts of the country inhabited by the Uttarakhand population. The government subsidy plays a vital role in encouraging regional movies’ production in Uttarakhand reveal film critics. GHANGTOL DID A GOOD BUSINESS In Dehradun and other parts of Uttarakhand said the producer Sanjay Joshi. His earlier movie was CHAKRAVYUH which couldn’t exhibit Good performance and earn much profit though it was dubbed in Garhwali, Kumaoni and Nepali dialects.
However, the current movie GHANGTOL is believed to be giving good business and loved by the audience as the script, music, songs, scenic beauty, camera work cinematography is outstanding.
The film is shot in the serene environment and beautiful locations of Garhwal, Uttarakhand with the direction of Sushila Rawat highly laudable.

The director of Photography of this movie is Dhruv Tyagi and editor Pushkar Bharat Pant. The sound Engineer is Jitendra Pathak whereas the script of movie written jointly by Sanjay Joshi and Sushila Rawat. The make up was by Lucky Mustakim and and the BGM of the movie is Vijay Kapoor.
