Garhwal MP Anil Baluni meets external affairs minister Jaishankar and urged to open two passport offices at Kotdwar and Gopeshwar

The GARHWAL Lok Sabha member of parliament and national media incharge of Bhartiya Janata Party Anil Baluni has become too active sitting in Delhi using his good offices, to fulfil various requirements of his electorates.

Starting with allocating several crores of rupees from his MP lad fund for construction of a Mountain Museum and a planetarium at Pauri township , earlier a commissionary of Pauri Garhwal district and then meeting the union minister of science and technology Jitendra Singh to expedite this project, Anil Baluni has recently inaugurated alongwith the Uttarakhand governor Lt General ( Rtd) Gurmeet Singh – a Cath Lab in a Shrinagar hospital , Garhwal that will benefit hundreds of patients of heart ailments. Today Anil Baluni, met the union minister for External Affairs who was formerly the foreign secretary Jaishankar regarding setting up two pass port offices at Kotdwar and Chamoli to ensure expeditious passport delivery to the youths of Garhwal that would also save the time and money of the aspirants coming to Dehradun or Delhi for passports. He also presented a letter to the union external minister after the meeting demanding two passport offices at Kotdwar and Gopeshwar, Chamoli.

In a message of social media handle of his, Anil Baluni wrote : Met the Honourable External Affairs Minister

@DrSJaishankar and requested him to open passport offices in Gopeshwar (Chamoli) and Kotdwar in my Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency.

Considering the difficult geographical conditions, opening of these offices will be of great convenience to the local students and youth and will save their time and money. The honorable minister positively agreed to the request. Hopefully, soon we will get the good news of opening of these offices write Anil Baluni, MP on X. The minister gave a patient hearing to the MP and assured of doing the needful at the earliest.
