GUFC: Back-to-Back Champions of the Delhi Futsal League
Garhwal United FC (GUFC) secured their second consecutive Delhi Futsal League title with a series of dominant performances, reaffirming their status as a powerhouse in the competition.
The road to the final was anything but easy. In the group stage, they faced Goal Hunterz, a professional futsal team, and edged out a hard-fought 1-0 victory.
In the semifinals, GUFC took on EIMI HEROES, a team featuring a Futsal India player, and delivered a commanding 6-2 win.
The final saw GUFC go head-to-head with JUBA SANGHA, a team that had a relatively easier path to the title clash. Rising to the occasion, GUFC put on another dominant display, sealing the championship with a 4-1 victory.

In short, Garhwal Heroes Women FC got affiliation in 2004 and emerged as Champions of Delhi State Women League thrice 2008, 2011 and 2024. In 2023, Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) asked to change its name and it was renamed as Garhwal United from Heroes. Delhi Women Futsal started only last year and emerged Champions in both the Editions of the league, a rare case in football history.
