Four matches of the cricket league organized by Devbhoomi Sports Mahakauthig Foundation played at Chanakyapuri grounds
Four matches of the cricket league organized by Devbhoomi Sports Mahakauthig Foundation were played today at Vinay Marg Chanakya Puri Delhi Cricket Ground. The Foundation had arranged for good facilities at the ground.
The second match of the league was played between Uttarakhand Super Strikers and Future Academy. Batting first, Uttarakhand Super Strikers scored 104 runs and were all out.
Future Academy comfortably won the match losing 2 wickets. Kamal Bangari was chosen as the man of the match and Uday Negi was chosen fighter of the match.
The third league match was played between Pahari Warriors and Badri Kedar Baireth. Pahari Warriors scored 118/9 in the stipulated 20 overs. Badri Kedar Baireth achieved the target and won the match by losing 5 wickets in 15.4 overs. Man of the match Atul Negi and Fighter of the match Rakesh Singh were selected.
The fourth match of the league was played between Yadgaar Club Bhergaon and Bajrangi Cricket Club. Yadgar Club scored 159/4 runs. Yadgar Club won the match by bowling out Bajrangi Cricket Club for 154 runs. Avinash was chosen man of the match. Dinesh Singh Bisht was chosen fighter of the match.
The fifth match of the league was between Rookies Uttarakhand and G.S.R cricket clubs. Rookies scored 196/5 while playing first. G.S.R. The cricket club fought hard but lost the match after scoring 182/9 runs.
Sunil Chauhan was elected man of the match due to his all-round game. He scored 57 runs and took 3 wickets. Mr. Dheeraj Pathak was selected as Fighter of the Match.
Man of the Match trophies of all the four matches held today were given by former soldiers of Gaurav Senani Garhwal Rifles, Shri Balbir Singh Sajwan and Ajit Singh Negi ji.
The entire foundation team worked hard and diligently in organizing these four matches today. Executive members of the Foundation are Mr. Arjun Kandari (President), Mr. Devendra Patwal (National General Secretary). Shri Darwan Rawat (General Secretary Public Relations), Shri Anil Singh Rauthan (National Organization Incharge), Belam Negi (National Sports Incharge), Prithvi Rawat (Co-Incharge) and other members remained engaged in the arrangements of the match.
