Four employees including a fire fighters and Naib Tehsildar suspended for dereliction of duty to control fire at Tyuni village Dehradun. CM sanctions Rs 2 lakh each to the dead !

THE Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has sanctioned Rs. Two lakh each to the deceased of the Thursday victims of massive fire in a house in a house at Dehradun under Tyuni police station’s jurisdiction in which four children ( daughters) have died and two of the dead bodies could not be recovered.

On the instructions of the DGP Ashok Kumar the deputy Inspector General, Uttarakhand has suspended four personal including a Naib Tehsildar for dereliction of duty with immediate effect .

According to the latest news. The fire was so massive that the entire house was engulfed in the flames with two bodies of children not even retrieved due to major burns.

The district magistrate Sonika met the aggrieved family and tried to console them.

The concerned authorities and the SDRF is trying hard to recover the dead bodies of the daughters engulfed in the dreaded fire.

The fire Brigade vehicles that had reached the venue about 150 metres away from the burning house in massive flames could not douz ( control) the fire as the water in the tanks of the fire Brigade wasn’t there.

Sounds highly apathetic and shocking. Had there been sufficient water, the fire could have been extinguished in time says the news report.

The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a very serious view of the negligence on the part of the fire Brigade authorities and had given the responsibility to the deputy chief of the department Nivedita Kukreti to probe this case and submit the report at the earliest including sanctioning Rs eight lakhs in all to the aggrieved family . The Naayab Tehsildar of the area has also been suspended.
