Four Delhi MPs meet LG and present him a demand letter on Delhi problems
Four Delhi MPs met Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K.Saxena today and presented him a four-point demand letter. The four MPs who met the LG Delhi were Ram Vir Singh Biduri, Manoj Tiwari, Yogendra Chandolia and Smt. Kamaljit Sehrawat. In the demand letter the BJP MPs urged him to give alternative plots to those farmers whose land has been acquired by the government . The number of such farmers is more than 16 thousand and no action whatsoever has been taken in them by the Land and Building Department of Delhi Government.
Mr. Biduri, MP said that apart from this, mutation is not being done in the names of the heirs of the farmers who have died urging further that their mutation should be done. In addition to this he said that the private electricity companies are harassing the residents of villages and unauthorized colonies in the name of getting NOC from DDA when they ask for electricity connection. This condition of NOC for electricity connection should be removed forthwith demanded the four BJP MPs. The demand letter also mentioned that the population which has been left out from the map of unauthorized colonies to be passed, should also be included.
