Forty Eight MPs suspended and Lok Sabha adjourned till 2 PM due to unruly behaviour of opposition MPs
Forty Eight members of parliament were today suspended from the Lok Sabha charging them of unruly behaviour by the speaker and house adjourned up to 2.PM. again earlier adjourned upto 12.30 noon.
According to the latest news the drama, started when the opposition MPs raised slogans, holding play cards in their hands in Lok Sabha with the presiding officer Rajendra Aggrawal raising strong objection terming the action of these MPs as unconstitutional compelling the parliamentary affairs Minister Of state Arjun Ram Meghwal bringing a resolution regarding suspension of all the vociferous MPs numbering 48 which was, passed by the voice vote with Lok Sabha speaker adjourning the house till 2.00 PM.
On the other hand the chairman of the Rajya Sabha had been repeatedly requesting the upper house opposition MPs to maintain decorum but they continued to raise slogans compelling him to adjourn the house till 2.00 PM. It may be recalled that the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary had already accused the prime minister Narendra Modi and BJP for suspending 92 MPs on 18 December from both the houses of parliament saying that the people of the country are watching the proud of the prime minister.
Kindly recall that all the MPs of I. N. D. I. A. Bloc had met the Congress chief and veteran leader Mallikarjun Kharge in his office to devise a cumulative strategy on the role of opposition in both houses of parliament.
Meanwhile, the meeting of BJP parliamentary party presided over by prime minister Narendra Modi took place in the Parliament Library building in which defence minister Rajnath Singh and party chief J. P. Nadda, we’re also present.
Meanwhile, the leaders and MPs of India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance have castigated the BJP top leadership for mowing the bulldozer on opposition and its MPs by way of suspending them from the house this stopping them from raising their voice of dissent.
Meanwhile the Congress chief and leader in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge while speaking to ANI said : Modi-Shah have insulted the dignity of the House. Despite serious security lapses, he does not come to Parliament and give any statement. I am very sad that for the first time in history so many MPs have been suspended. This is like flouting democracy and is a deep insult to the dignity of the House.
