The 67 years old former prime minister of Japan Shinzo Abe has passed away. According to the latest news he passed away in a hospital in Japan where he was hurriedly admitted after being shot at from a very close range on the back by an unknown assailant who has been captured. Japanese former PM Shinzo Abe was shot at twice while he was addressing a campaign meeting at NARA, in Japan after quitting as PM due to health ailments of ulcer in stomach.
There is a shock wave in Japan and all over the world after his sudden passing away after being shot from close range by an assailant at Nara. He was prime minister of Japan in 2006 and thereafter for eight years from 2012 to 2020. A highly respected political personality of global fame, Shinzo Abe’s sudden demise after being brutally injured with two bullet wounds in his back has stunned one and all. The prime minister Narendra Modi had in a tweet earlier wrote : Deeply distressed by the attack on my dear friend Abe Shinzo. Our thoughts n prayers are with him, his family and the people of Japan.
Former prime minister Shinzo Abe breathed his last in a hospital in Kashihara city, in Nara region after being shot at and his condition being extremely critical. Russia called the attack on Shinzo Abe an act of terrorism. A great friend of India and prime minister Narendra Modi – 9 th July has been declared as the day of mourning as a mark of deepest respects to the former Japanese PM tweeted PM. Prime minister Narendra Modi while expressing his grief said during my recent visit to Japan I had the opportunity to meet him and discuss many issues never knowing that this will be my last meeting with him. His contribution to develop Indo Japanese special strategic and global partnership was immense. India along with Japan mourns his tragic demise tweeted PM Modi.
