Former IPS and Retired DGP Kerala K.S.Jangpangi expresses his jubilation over the Congress victories from Badrinath and Mangalore
The former Director General of Kerala police , retired IPS originally hailing from Uttarakhand K.S.Jangpangi has expressed his happiness over the victory of Congress candidates from Badrinath and Mangalore constituencies despite the fact that he is neither a Congress supporter or sympathiser nor in active politics but of course active in social matters. In response to these two triumphs of Congress party after a long natural former IPS and the former DGP of a number one literate scare of the country Kerala Jangpangi specifically wrote his views to be disseminated among the masses. He wrote :
Good news that BJP has lost both the by-elections held in Uttarakhand. I am not at all a congress supporter or sympathiser but the ruling BJP dispensation has been reckless and anti-people in Uttarakhand and they have practically done nothing in Uttarakhand for its development and inclusive growth. The present Uttarakhand BJP leadership has completely surrendered their independence and wisdom to the central leadership of Modi and Shah. They have become agents of central leadership rather than becoming Uttarakhand’s voice. They have hypothecated their wisdom to the whims and fancy of BJP central leadership. Putting up an outsider as BJP candidate in Mangalore constituency is a classic example of their surrender. It’s good that the BJP outside candidate has been defeated though with a slender margin. The state BJP leadership has to stand up to the whims and fancy of Central leadership. It has also provided much needed succour and space to Congress to take their fight to logical conclusion after their total defeat in recently held Parliamentary elections.
