Former IFS n Uttarakhand, Raksha Morcha chief Dr. Vinod, Bahuguna urges PM to act fast n inject immunity booster dose to countrymen after Kejrival’s urge
After Delhi chief minister Arvind, Kejrival, now the former IFS and president of Uttarakhand, Raksha Morcha Dr. Vinod Bahuguna has urged the prime minister Narendra Modi to inoculate the countrymen with immunity booster dose at the earliest in view of the dreaded Omicron cases increasing in India crossing the 273 numbers and Covid cases too on the surge. Few days, ago there were around three hundred deaths at the pan India level with Delhi recording 108 cases of Covid 19.
The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has declared that all the new cases will be send for genome sequencing and had asked the centrL government to immediately grant them Delhi government permission for providing booster doses to Delhites at the earliest claiming that the Delhi government has all the necessary arrangements in this regard. The director if AIIMS Dr. Randeep Guleria too had expressed his, serious concern over the surge in Omicron cases in Britain and other countries of the world with India too getting affected.
He had cautioned the government and medical fraternity to be tremendously cautious and keep the entire medical system and machinery ready in advance to meet any eventuality. The former IFS and advisor to the chief minister of Sikkim n President of Uttarakhand, Raksha Morcha Dr. Vinod Bahuguna said the entire world is concerned about the Omicron strain of Covid-19. Indians are floating the Covid-19 protocols with impunity. He added the Serum Institute has asked the govt to permit booster doze to people above 60 and those who are vulnerable.
According to Dr Vinod Bahuguna the silence of government is like last time before the second wave. Criticizing the medical experts for taking the Omicron lightly he said that the argument that experts are examining it is totally fallacious. Highly concerned about the newCoronavirus varuant Omicron Dr. Bahuguna said the whole world is permitting booster doze. Our covishield is the version of Britain’s Astrazeneca vaccine which is already in use as booster doze but unfortunately this, request is, not being heeded to.
Dr. Bahuguna tweeted to Prime Minister and Health Minister to allow booster doze, on urgent basis. He felt an urgent need that the health experts need to rise from slumber and prevent third wave to grip the nation. Government of India must act fast he warned. Already more than 95 percent people have got the first doze and we have sufficient availability of vaccine for booster doze emphasised the Uttarakhand Rakha Morcha chief. Dr Bahuguna was Tripura CS Rank Principal Secretary and Agriculture Production Commissioner. Till 2015 April before that he was DG in MoEF in Secy govt of India rank.
Meanwhile the prime minister to on Thursday holding an important meeting on the Covid 19 situation in the country caused by the Omicron variant in the country. India has so far reported 263 cases of Omicron variant across 15 states n union territories n atleast 90 of the infected people have either recovered or migrated according to the latest reports. During the last 24 hours India reported 6,317 cases of Covid with 318 deaths as per health ministry bulletin.
