Former governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari adviced CM Dhami to instruct his bureaucrats and ministers to go to people to resolve their grievances
The former chief minister of Uttarakhand and ex Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari has on Thursday advised his political disciples and former OSD – now Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami to ensure that the bureaucrats and ministers in his government visit people at ground zero and establish contact with them to redress their primary grievances as he has complaints that the bureaucrats and ministers in his government are not going to people and refreshing their grievances. The former Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari was speaking from the platform in which CM Dhami too was present. He catagorically warned and said that those bureaucrats who do not go to the ground n meet people to resolve their grievances they should be made to sit in their house. Expressing his disenchantment over the bureaucrats and even ministers not going among people at the ground level and resolving their issues, Koshiyari said that the chief minister should now change his working mechanism and ensure that his senior bureaucrats and ministers visit people at ground zero to resolve their grievances etc. It may be recalled that when Bhagat Singh Koshiyari was the chief minister of Uttarakhand from 2001 to 2002 n thereafter for few months, the present CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was his officer on special duty. It is believed that Dhami was recommended for chief ministers post by Mr. Koshiyari who was then the governor of Maharashtra.
