Former Delhi CM blames new CM for not taking up the issue of Rs.2500 dole to women every month in the first cabinet meeting

The former chief minister of Delhi Atishi Marlena despite her party losing power in Delhi and she losing her chief minister ship is still in full enthusiasm and energy playing a credible role of the leader of the opposition.
On the first day after the Bhartiya Janata Party came to power in Delhi , the former chief minister Atishi Marlena has started positioning her guns on the new chief minister Rekha Gupta.
In a self recorded video released in social media X Atishi Marlena has accused the first BJP women chief minister, which returned to power in Delhi after protracted 27 years of backing out regarding fulfilling the demand of giving Rs 2500 every month to the Delhi women as promised in the BJP menifesto and during elections.
Atishi said that the first cabinet committee meeting chaired by the Delhi CM Rekha Gupta has not taken any decision on Rs. 2500 doles to every women of Delhi despite the fact that the BJP’s top leadership had announced that as soon as the new chief minister assumed office and calls the first cabinet meeting this assurance will be fulfilled.
She accused the BJP of breaking its promises from day one as the women of Delhi were expecting this scheme to be announced but unfortunately from day one they have started deceiving the Delhi people.
Meanwhile, the first woman chief chief minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta has after assuming the office addressed a press conference welcoming the journalists saying that they are also coming to her office for the first time after the AAP government had closed the doors for them to enter the Delhi secretariat.
She said that the first cabinet meeting has been convened after she assumed office and she will try her best to fulfill all the flagship programmes of Delhi government and the assurances given to Delhi electorates including implementation of Ayushman Bharat scheme and giving doles of Rs.2500 to every women of the national capital territory.
There are also reports that the women ride in Delhi Transport Buses , the facility given earlier by the the AAP government will continue as promised during the elections.
The chief minister was particular about tabling of the CAG reports in the first assembly session saying that 14 pending CAG reports will be tabled in the first assembly sitting. She accused the formed AAP government of skipping from tabling the CAG reports as it would have exposed them of massive corruption said Delhi CM Rekha Gupta.
On the question of the allegation of the former Delhi CM Atishi for not taking up the issue of giving Rs.2500 to Delhi women , the CM said now it is our government, and the agenda will be ours. We will ensure that all the pre poll promises given to Delhi electorates are fulfilled in the near future.
Yesterday the chief minister alongwith her entire cabinet has visited the Yamuna Ghat and participated in Yamuna Arti.
The work on the cleanliness of Yamuna has however commenced after the Leutienant Governor has send a huge machine for cleanliness of Yamuna though it is just a symbolic affair as Jamuna needs to be cleaned on wider scale with STPs etc on big scale to be established and a consistent programme of cleanliness to be carried forward that requires hundreds of crores of expenditure.
