Former Congress CM and chief of the election campaign committee Harish Rawat reports from ground zero at Kotdwar exposing the present regime of unattended works of Roads and illegal mining

The former chief minister of Uttarakhand and chairman of the Uttarakhand Congress election campaign committee is extremely media savvy and is very active in social media, especially Facebook and Twitter apart from being extremely mobile in the pre election campaigns despite the code of conduct not announced yet, making absolutely clear Bout his sure sort intentions to be the next Congress chief minister of Uttarakhand in case the party gets a comfortable majority.

Harish Rawat these days is visiting every part and corners of Uttarakhand, having already crushed his political rivals within his party deputing his protege former Srinagar lawmaker of Congress Ganesh Godiyal the state president.

He has started ground reporting taking cameramen with him including media men of various channels exposing the present administration and the BJP government on various fronts.

Accusing and attacking the chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat said that illegal mining mafias allegedly have the full patronage as the CM has become “Khannan Premi”, making the rivulets n rivers hollow by illegally extracting tremendous natural resources, stones, sands etc inviting floods during the monsoon season, posing risk to bridges and also indirectly blaming the Kotdwar MLA and minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat without naming him for not carrying out the ” Dambarikaran”, of the kotdwar, Chillar Khal Marg personally visiting the site and reporting from there saying that the road constructed during his tenure is still left unattended ” Pakkikaran”, despite the passers by confronting hell of the problems while plying on the road.

Rawat termed the CM Pushkar Singh Dhami as the KHANAN PREMI MUKHYAMANTRI while addressing the media saying that he said so two months ago.

He also went to the the Kotdwar bridge and the under bridge dry river n rivulets showing on the camera, the ongoing massive scale illegal mining with the government allegedly being hand in glove with the illegal miners extensively excavating stones, sand n other natural resources with no legal binding, allegedly blaming the chief minister for being negligent on this front.

In a video of “Pahad ka Pathar”, the former CM is exhibited with running commentary of the sorry state of affairs of the present government with illegal mining going on uncontrollably at Kotdwar.

It may be recalled that it is not yet clear as to where from veteran Congress leader will contest during the ensuing assembly election and is in search of his constituency either from Garhwal or Kumaon visiting every nook and corner of the state exposing the present BJP government and the administration through ground reporting.

It may be recalled that when Harish Rawat was the Uttarakhand CM he too was under the political attack of BJP accusing him for promoting a special liquor brand in liquor outlets and the illegal mining allegedly functioned then as well with the saffron party levelling several charges of promoting the mining mafias etc.
