Former Congress chief of Uttarakhand Godiyal demands probe against minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat. Hand’s over letter to CM Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami
The former president of Uttarakhand Congress and Badrinath, Kedarnath Temple Committee, former MLA as well, Ganesh Godiyal has today met the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and handed him a letter/ memorandum demanding immediate probe against the cooperative and health minister of Uttarakhand on various charges of alleged corruption pertaining to his departments and paying of fake bills for treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme by those hospitals which were non functional for several years. It may be recalled that a member of the present committee of Badrinath Kedarnath Mandir has filed complaint against him in his capacity of the chairman of BKTC n the then management regarding an alleged embezzlement of the said trust, flatly denied by Ganesh Godiyal and Congress leaders Harish Rawat and Karan Mahra. The letter handed over to the chief minister in Hindi today by Godiyal states that the enquiry started by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the complaint against him is wholeheartedly welcome but the serious charges levelled against the cooperative and health minister of Uttarakhand by him should also be thoroughly investigated as the complaint made against me ( Ganesh Godiyal) by Mr. Dimri, member, BKTC was sent to Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat his arch political rival and lawmaker who won against him from Srinagar which unambiguously states about the vindictive attitude of the party n govt. He said that if a high level probe is not initiated against minister of health n cooperation Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat within a week against serious charges levelled by him he will be constrained to stage a Dharna outside the CM’s residence.
