Former Congress candidate from Tehri and Ex BJP MLA Dhan Singh Negi joins his party again

In Uttarakhand while the Congress party seems to be in dilemma having still not declared two parliamentary candidates from Haridwar and Nainital with BJP having declared all the candidates on five seats, the Congress leaders are gradually leaving the party in lurch which had once made them MLAs. Today, one more important wicket of Congress, (though a former BJP MLA having defected to Congress in 2022 ) has gone with BJP with the saffron party gaining in terms of raising its political tempo, especially in Tehri Garhwal from where Maharani Rajya Lakshmi is repeating for the third consecutive term.

According to a latest news Dhan Singh Negi, a former BJP MLA from Tehri who had also contested in 2022 on Congress ticket has today submitted his resignation from the primary membership of Congress having welcomed and extended his good wishes and congratulatory message to Haridwar BJP MP candidate and former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat.

In a hand written resignation letter addressed to the Uttarakhand Congress chief Karan Mahara , Dhan Singh Negi, former MLA wrote that I am resigning from the primary membership of Cingress party with effect from 17.2.24. in another message on social media platform Dhan Singh Negi has posted his picture with Trivendra Singh Rawat who is heavily garlended after his candidature from Haridwar was declared conveying his best wishes to the former Uttarakhand CM obviously indicating that he has joined the Bhartiya Janata Party.

Dhan Singh Negi is a habitual party changer as in 2022 when he was denied ticket by BJP and Kishore Upadhyay of Congress who joined the saffron party at the nick of the given the BJP ticket, Dhan Singh Negi had joined Congress n contested as Congress candidate to face the defeat with Kishore winning from Tehri.

After two years he is again returning back to his parents party . He would now be campaigning for BJP candidates extensively and may prove to be a game changer in Tehri Garhwal Parliamentary seat ensuring the victory of the sitting MP candidate Maharani RajyaLakshmi whose personal record as a performer is not good with electorates unhappy for her non performance n being unaccecible during the past five years.
