FORMER CM HEMANT SOREN SWORN IN AS THE JHARKHAND CM FOR THE THIRD TIME
Released on bail by Jharkhand High Court
The former chief minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren who had resigned before being incarcerated on the money laundering case pertaining to a land scam in Jharkhand n now released in bail has today taken oath as the chief minister of Jharkhand for the third time.
After Hemant Soren had resigned before his arrest on January 31st July , he had chosen his close confident MLA Champai Soren to be sworn in as the chief minister of Jharkhand.
Soren was in jail for five months and was released on bail few days ago by Jharkhand High Court.
The Jharkhand governor C.P. Radhakrishnan has delivered the oath of office to the former CM and executive president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Hemant Soren at Raj Bhawan, Ranchi today.
His wife Kalapana Soren had led the party in Soren’s absence and campaigned extensively for the party’s candidates and addressed several largely attended meetings including a massive Ram Lila Maidana Delhi rally of INDIA in the presence of all the senior leaders of INDIA bloc.
Her incessant dedicated efforts to mobilise the people of her state during the 2024 general elections led to the victory of three MPs of JMM from the state.
Before taking the oath as the CM of Jharkhand for the third time Hemant Soren met his father the founder of JMM Sibbu Soren and sought his blessings by touching his feet and wrote on X : 5 months ago, the arrogant people intoxicated with power tried to silence me. Today, the public opinion of the people of Jharkhand will rise again. Jai Jharkhand, Jai Hind.
Kalapana Soren wife of Hemant Soren congratulated her husband for becoming the CM of Jharkhand for the third time and wrote on X : We have to follow the path shown by our ancestors who had dreamt about Jharkhand and fight against injustice to get Jharkhand the respect that our state deserves.
