Fmr Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat accuses the present government for not conducting Mansarovar Yatra via Pithoragarh through KMVN. Accuses of allegedly closing KMVN.

The former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat has accused the present saffron party government of Uttarakhand of snatching the rights of conduction of adventurous tracking tours of Om Parvat, Kailash n related mountain areas, especially the historic religious Yatra of Man Sarovar from the control of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam and giving them in the hands of private parties and tour operators.

Criticising the BJP government through a social media post, the former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat said that there is a pre meditated design to abolish the existence of KMVN as per the news appearing in section of the press about the state government’s intention to hand over the rights of conducting these tours to private parties from KMVN which earlier used to conduct them including the historic Man Sarovar Yatra via Pithoragarh , unambiguously meaning that either it wants to curtail this historic Yatra via Pithoragarh or want to abolish the existing KMVN.

Charging the present government of taking away the employment of those associated with these tours n Kailash Mansarovar Yatra etc Harish Rawat said that the government should instead handing over these Tours to private operators from KMVN n taking jobs of those connected with these adventure tours etc should give a serious rethinking over this important issue which is the dire need of the hour and revoke it’s decision, as given me to understand from news paper reports . He marked his post to chief minister Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami with a hashtag.

It may be recalled that octogenarian, former CM n chief election strategist of Congress Rawat who lost from Lalquan this time with Congress losing to BJP badly has instead of losing heart seeking apology for the party’s, defeat has appealed to Congress leaders and rank and file to re tighten their belts and be ready for dashing batting in 2027 making the organisation string and cohesive to decisively take on the saffron party head on.

  1. Harish Da, wants to remain the news come what may. The present governance will soon catch up the dark corners and set them alright. Dhami is a changed person now, let the bi-election get over, then perhaps the state will witness his true colour of governance.
