FMR UKHAND MINISTER DR. HARAK SINGH RAWAT MADE COORDINATOR FOR RAJASTHAN ASSEMBLY ELECTION BY CONGRESS CHIEF KHARGE
After remaining dormant in Congress politics since joining Congress party from BJP during the elections of Uttarakhand assembly in 2022 and his beauty queen daughter in law Akruti Gusain also losing from Lansdowne assembly constituency, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat has been accomodated to some extent being appointed as a COORDINATOR of Rajasthan elections along with three other coordinators, appointed by the senior general secretary of AICC K. C. Venugopal. The other three coordinators of the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections are Smt. Ranjita Ranjan, MP, Smt. Kiran Chowdhary, former Haryana minister, MLA and Shamsher Singh Dullo, Ex MP. It may be recalled that Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, former minister is considered to be the bete noire of former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat and had been touring the Haridwar constituency with rumours spreading that he may pose challenge to former CM Harish Rawat by demanding ticket from Haridwar, from where he is a former MP and also a strong contender for Congress ticket. Moreover, Harish Rawat’s,daughter is also a lawmaker from rural ( Haridwar) constituency. Recently, the central High command of Congress has appointed Harish Rawat and the former Uttarakhand Congress chief Ganesh Godiyal as permanent and special invitees respectively. Therefore now by giving Dr. Harak Singh Rawat the responsibility as a coordinator of Rajasthan assembly elections who was out of the state Congress politics till now , almost sidelined, a new lease of political life have been accorded to Dr. Harak Singh Rawat. According to a press release issued by AICC senior general secretary ( organisation) K. C. Venugopal : Hon’ble Congress president has approved the proposal for the appointment of AICC Coordinators for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections – 2023 as follows with immediate effect namely Smt. Ranjita Ranjan, MP, Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, former minister, Kiran Chowdhary MLA, Shamsher Singh Dullo, ex MP. Hon’ble Congress president has also approved the proposal of attaching Sh. B. P. Singh, ( Secretary, AICC) , and Shri Rajendra Singh Kumpavat ( former PRO, Rajasthan) with Shri Madhusudan Mistry, Senior Election Observer, till the conclusion of the Rajasthan Assembly elections.
