The situation in Nainital seems to be under control now as there was flag march of large contingent of police in the main Nainital Mall road / market. But in some parts of Uttarakhand especially in Dehradun the attacks happened on a particular community after asking their caste/ community by some hooligans. The man was so badly thrashed that a video with his profusely bleeding body with injuries is going viral in social media. Yesterday a policeman after knowing his community was also threatened after his fellow policemen came to his rescue. These signs of fundamentalism are not at all good for our society which consists of diverse cultures , religions, castes, communities and creeds living in peaceful atmosphere for several decades. Unfortunately, giving communal colour to crime is not permitted in our constitution. Criminal of whichever caste or community he or she belongs don’t have any religion. The entire community can never be held responsible for a wrong doing of individuals. Laws of the land have to deal with crime and criminals and courts exist for delivering justice. Who are we to take the laws into our hands ? Unfortunately today, things are being polarised on religious lines which are not good for the society, our constitution and law of the land. Whatever, happened in Nainital with a minor girl is undoubtedly extremely unfortunate and unlawful. The culprit has been arrested and is being tried under the stringent sections of the law. The police is dealing with the culprit according to the laws of the land. What happened in Pahalgaon too is unpardonable and every Indian is condemning the incident in strongest possible terms terming it the worst tragedy and a black chaper in the history of our country. Entire nation is standing in solidarity with the government against the perpetrators of this cowardly violence and the government of India will definitely teach a befitting lesson to them as the martyrdom of our soldiers fighting the enemy forces and the innocent tourists will not go waste at any cost. The riots, vandalism that happened in Nainital are strongly condemnable and even the honourable high court of Uttarakhand has condemned it with a heavy hand asking the police administration to come to the Nainital High Court in May 6 appearing before the two judge bench comprising of chief Justice G. Narendra and Justice Ravindra Mathani with a report as to how many of the rioters and those involved in vandalism have been arrested ? The Court has catagorically rejected the demolition orders issued against the wife of the culprit and said that the rioters and vandals should not be spared at any cost. According to the news SSP Nainital Prahlad Rai Meena assured tourists on Saturday that the everything is under control in the hill town, which sees a huge influx of holidayers during the summer months.
