First woman CJ of Nepal Supreme Court is the interim PM of Nepal

The first woman chief justice of Supreme Court Sushila Karki has been appointed as the interim prime minister of Nepal.

She was sworn in by President Ram Chandra Paudel at Rashtrapati Bhavan Sheetal Niwas.
Susheela Karki was born on June 7, 1952 in Biratnagar.

She did post graduation in political science from Banaras Hindu University. Apart from this, he studied law from Tribhuvan University of Nepal. After this, he started his career in the field of advocacy and legal reforms.

Sushila Karki has been the first woman Chief Justice of Nepal.

Seventy three years old Sushila Karki is the first and foremost choice of all the protesting youths. She is privileged to have been the first woman chief justice of Nepal Supreme Court from July 2016 to June 2017.

The oath ceremony for the new Nepal PM will take place today, at 8:30 PM. The Nepalese parliament has also been suspended.

Having born on June 7, 1952, former first woman Chief Justice of Nepal Supreme Court Sushila Karki is the oldest of seven siblings.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in law from Tribhuvan University in 1978, her master’s degree in political science from Banaras Hindu University in 1975, and her bachelor’s degree in law from Bhatnagar Mahendra Morang Campus in 1972.
