First lists of Congress candidates for MP, Chattisgarh and Telengana assembly elections released

The Congress party has released its first list of candidates from Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Telengana with the former union minister and Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath to contest from his traditional seat Chhindwara, but of course as MLA. Kamal had been the Lok Sabha member of parliament from here for nine protracted terms. He was the central minister in almost all Congress tenures. On the other hand the Congress party has accorded ticket to Vikram Maastaal who will be fighting against the present chief minister Shivraj Singh from from Budhni. The Congress party has given ticket to him because he had played the role of Lord Hanuman in Ramayana released in 2008 and is quite popular who may invade into the Hindu community votes of the saffron party. Apart from this the former chief minister in Congress rule Digvijay Singh’s son Jaivardhan Singh who was minister in the cabinet of Kamal Nath in Madhya Pradesh has been given Congress ticket from Raghighat assembly constituency . However, the Congress government led by Kamalnath had been dethroned after 22 MLAs of Congress under the leadership of tebel Congress leader n former union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had defected to BJP resulting in the formation of the saffron party government led by Shiv Raj Singh Chouhan. The former MP CM Kamalnath has today released the list of 144 out of total 230 while the Telengana Congress has released the list of 55 and Chattisgarh only thirty. In Telangana the Congress party fielded state Congress president Anumala Rev Nath Reddy from Kodangal assembly, the Congress legislature party chief Mr. Bhatti Vikarma Mallu got ticket from Mandhira SC seat. From Chattisgarh the chief minister Bhupesh Bagel is contesting from Patan assembly constituency , the deputy CM T. S. Singh Deo from Ambikapur assembly seat.

Meanwhile, the former CM of Madhya Pradesh and, Congress chief of the state Kamalnath congratulated all those who have been made Congress candidates from MP this time.

In his congratulatory message he wrote on X earlier Twitter in Hindi : For Madhya Pradesh assembly elections the Congress party has released its first list. I congratulate all the candidates and appeal to all the state’s respected electorates to support the Congress candidates to establish a truthful and justifiable government tweeted Kamalnath.
