Enthralling Musical Evening by Globally Acclaimed Violin Maestro and Sufi Singer Ustad Johar Ali Khan at SAU University Delhi


South Asian University, Delhi hosted a mystical musical evening on 29th Oct. 25 where globally acclaimed musician Ustad Johar Ali Khan and his team of talented musicians enthralled the audience by his soulful music. Johar Ali Khan is an Indian classical violinist. He is the son and disciple of Gohar Ali Khan of Rampur, and belongs to the Patiala Gharana of Rampur. His grandfather was Ali Baksh Jarnail, the founder of Patiala Gharana. The evening was attended by esteemed guests Mr. Manjul Thapliyal-President AMON (Australian Multicultural Organisations network) India & CEO- Visions Ahead Foundation, Mr. Naveen Jindal (Politician), Mr. Narendra Singh Ladwal (Industrialist), Mr. Nirmal Singh Namdhari (Founding Member, AMON Australia), Dr. (Prof.) Kavita Thapliyal, Amity University, Mr. Sunny Duggal (Entrepreneur, Australia), distinguished academia, and several dignitaries from Asian nations. The event was hosted under the leadership of SAU President and Noted Academician Prof. K.K Aggarwal. The event was initiated with lighting of lamp by the esteem guests and Ganesh Vandana. Thereafter a saga of melodious symphonies were performed by Ustad Johar Ali Khan on the Violin, which was ably supported by his very talented, multicultural team on other musical instruments. There was a plethora of soulful Sufi songs, Kavali, Bollywood, Fusion and instrumental music in store for the awestruck jam-packed audience at the University Amphitheater. The musical evening concluded with a message for global peace and unity bonded by classical music, where India leads from the Front.
