Hundreds of enraged people in Ummedpur under the jurisdiction of Prem Nagar police station jammed the area in protest after a truck full of mine material crushed a young boy on motorcycle tragically killing him in the spot.
The enraged people staged a Dharna with the coffin of the dead boy with his aggrieved parents and relatives also present in the protest. They were demanding the arrest of the culprits.
There was chaos a around and the roads were jammed completely for several hours. The people in anger were accusing the local police for being in league with the miners and helping them.
According to reports, Shubham Gairola, a resident of Ummedpur, was on his way to the market to buy groceries.
On the way, a tractor loaded with mining material from Parwal crushed him. The seriously injured youth died on the spot. Angry residents blocked the area.

जानकारी के अनुसार शुभम गैरोला निवासी उम्मेदपुर सामान लेने बाजार जा रहा था। रास्ते मे परवल की तरफ से खनन सामग्री से भरे ट्रैक्टर ने उसे कुचल दिया। गंभीर रूप से घायल युवक ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया! घटना से गुस्साए लोगों ने घटनास्थल पर जाम लगा दिया!
