Eminent legendary ghazal singer who gave several super duper hit songs to Bollywood as well – Bhupendra Singh is no more. He breathed his last on Monday evening after suffering from various physical complications. According to his singer wife Mitali Singh – her husband who suffered from various medical complications breathed his last, this evening. He was 82 years old. A popular melodious singer Bhupendra Singh’s passing away is s great loss to Bollywood especially the singing fraternity of the country. Among hundreds of his melodious songs which touched the hearts of one and all, Bhupinder Singh’s ” DIL DHOONDTA HAI FIR VAHI, FURSAT KE RAAT DIN”, of super hit MAUSAM and several other songs would be missed by his millions of fans all over the world. The song of Gharonda ” Ek Akela is Shahar mein”, song of Hakikat – Hoke Majboor Mujhe Usne Bulaya Hoga, Aane se Uske Aaye Bahar from film Jane Ki Raah n songs of Aandhi and several other movies of Hindi including Tamil films and several hit songs in which he was guitarist Bhupender Singh’s passing away has send shock waves in entire nation. Legendary singer Bhupender Singh who was an institution in himself as a musician, singer and ghazal gayak is fondly remembered for his memorable songs in movies like Satte pe Satta, Mausam, Aahista Ahista Dooriyan, Hakeekat and several other bollywood films. Born on February 6, 1940 in Amritsar Punjab Bhupinder Singh was primarily proficient in Ghazal singing, was also a leading guitarist and also a renowned musician apart from a prominent singer. He played guitar to several popular songs as well, some being Dum Maro Dum in Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Ek Hi Khwab, Wadiyan Mera Daaman in film Abhilaasha, Chura Liya Hai in Yadon ki Baarat, Chingari Koi Bhadke in Amar Prem, Mebooba Mehbooba in Sholay, Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho in Hasta Jakham etc etc. Our sincere tributes to legendary singer n musician Bhupendra Singhji.
