Eminent literateur, poet and author NARENDRA KATHAITH to be honoured with BHAJAN SINGH SINGH PURUSKAR BY Uttrakhand Govt on 30 June
The ” Uttarakhand Bhaasha Sansthan” of Uttarakhand government has decided to felicitate an eminent literateur of the Himalayan State with prestigious ” UTTARAKHAND SAHITYA GAURAV SAMMAN” for his outstanding contribution in preserving and promoting the Garhwali dialect especially for its long-term outstanding literary creation and immeasurable contribution of this dialect. The honour has been named after an iconic historian and literateur of Garhwali dialect under the category of Uttarakhand ” SAHITYA GAURAV Samman”, known as BHAJAN SINGH SINGH PURUSKAAR WHICH WILL BE PRESENTED TO NARENDRA KATHAITH ON 30 TH JUNE by the chief minister of Uttarakhand PUSHKAR SINGH DHAMI and minister of language minister n senior bureaucrats. Author of several books in Hindi and Garhwali dialect eminent thinker, author and poet NARENDRA KATHAITH has been felicitated with several honours for his outstanding contribution in literature and poetry writings etc to name a few are – Aditya Ram Navani Puruskar ( 2008-9), Dr. Govind Chatak Samman in 2011-12, Himadri Ratna Samman, (2011), Mahakavi Kanhaiya Lal Dandriyal Sahitya Samman in 2013 by Uttarakhand Lok Manch etc. The letter of information about his selection for this prestigious award was sent to him by Seating S.
