Editor in chief of TV 100, Kulin Gupta passes away. Om Shanti
The Editor in Chief of TV 100 group, a prominent news channel of Uttarakhand and Director of Avanti Hardware Private limited, about 48 years old, died of brain hemmoerage after cardiac arrest in a hospital. He was admitted in a super speciality hospital since the last two weeks and was in ICU finally succumbing to the ailment after brain hemmoerage . The sad demise of Kulin Gupta has send shock waves among the media fraternity of Uttarakhand, family and relatives. A humble person with affable nature, charming personality – Kulin Gupta was passionate to expand his news channel in the interiors of Uttarakhand popular among masses of the state as a true regional channel raising local issues and people’s grievances. The channel’s studio is in Noida Sector 6 and Kulin Gupta has commenced the series of debates few years ago inviting leaders and social activists to channel studio to express their views giving them opportunity to become skilful orators. Several budding journalists have worked in this channel to join big channels afterwards. The passing away of the editor in chief of TV 100 , Kulin Gupta is a genuine loss to the media fraternity of Uttarakhand especially to the budding journalists and video journalists who got good break in leading channels initially working in TV 100 learning the basics of electronics’ news and video journalism. The UKNationnews and Uttarakhand Journalists Forum expressed their heartfelt tributes and deepest condolences on the sad demise of Editor in Chief of TV 100 Kulin Gupta saying that his tragic passing away is truly a great loss to journalist fraternity of Uttarakhand especially the budding journalists and vedio journalists who join TV 100 as interns and get good break in other leading channels thereafter. The former chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat has in a condolence message posted in FB wrote : Just now I got the very heart breaking news that Mr. Kulin Gupta, Founder/Chairman of TV 100, TV 100 means TV Uttarakhand, a very dedicated entrepreneur, adventurous personality, imaginative broadcaster, who made TV 100 a household name in Uttarakhand and in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. He was ill for several days, suffering from heart attack and cerebral palsy, he passed away today, at the age of 48, Kulin Gupta left us all, his untimely demise is an irreparable personal loss for me, but it is also a loss for the society and Uttarakhand, it is also a loss for the news world, we gave away a bold and promising personality.
Kulin may God rest your soul and wherever you are, may your love always be there for those people, may your blessings always be with those people who have the courage to change the society with their wisdom. Om Shanti wrote Harish Rawat while paying his last respects. He will be given final adieu today evening and consigned to flames at Green Park creamatorium.
