DTC buses coming very late and passengers wait for more than an hour. Even at Mandi House bus stop passengers wait for more than an hour for their buses

In Delhi , the national capital territory while the rates of the metro train have been increased in various slabs, the buses under Delhi transport corporation have decreased their services. There are reports that the cluster buses that were started during the Kejriwal government has been stopped , rather completely which had ordinary tickets at cheaper rates. After the new government led by BJP came into power in Delhi, the DTC buses on all routes introduced during the AAP government , the air conditioned battery buses  with the costlier tickets have been operated in all routes  though for women as announced by the previous government, the travel is free. In Delhi, especially on routes where metro trains  are  plying, the DTC bus services have been considerably decreased including on majority of the routes. The passengers are complaining about less buses which have been reduced  on several routes as a result of which they have to wait for hours. And when the bus arrive after an hour it is already full and jampacked  not leaving scope  for passengers of the bus stops ahead to board them. Not only this but  at times the same number several buses ply one after another going empty. The staff do not behave with passengers, even women properly and over cross several bus stops without caring for the passengers desperately waiting for buses. There have been several complaints but no one cares for them. Conclusively , the buses operating under the DTC in the national capital are not at all serving the public adequately with majority of the passengers compelled to travel by Metro after waiting at stops for an hour and even more than that. The former cabinet minister of Delhi and Delhi AAP president Saurabh Bharadwaj visited the Mandi House bus stand in Lutyens Delhi and spoke to the passengers , especially the women commuters who complained about buses on majority of routes missing and coming after more than an hour. The buses coming towards Anand Vihar seldom come and passengers rush increasing  on every bus stand, making is overfilled. There were thirty bus numbers written on  Mandi  House bus stand but hardly any bus came except negligible one or two said former minister Saurabh Bharadwaj. Several women commuters after waiting for an hour went on metro train. It may be recalled that the DTC has been running in losses with thousands of crores backlog. On can find lines of buses standing at the starting points but won’t start in time hardly worried for the convenience of the passengers.  They are unaccountable and rather scold passengers if they question them about the poor service.
