Kindly recall that Dr. Muhammad Yunus, known globally for his pioneering work in microfinance through the Grameen Bank, has been thrust into the political spotlight not by choice but by necessity. His appointment was a direct response to demands from student protesters, who sought a leader untainted by the corruption and authoritarianism associated with the previous regime. Yunus, with his international acclaim and reputation for integrity, was seen as an ideal figure to restore trust and stability.
