Diya and Ananya among other meritorious students felicitated at Garhwal Bhawan on Sunday.

In a glittering Pre Centenary celebration ( 100 Yrs) at Garhwal Bhawan Delhi (Garhwal Hiteshni Sabah) on Sunday – Diya & Ananya Thapliyal along with other meritorious students from Uttarakhand were facilitated with a Momento, Certificates of appreciation and Cash Prize. Education & Health Minister of Uttarakhand Dhan Singh Rawat, IAS in PMO n undersecretary Mangesh Ghildyal, Lt. General Rawat, ACP Raturi, BJP Delhi Leader & MCD Chief Satish Upadhyay and Corporator Bhadhana were the special Guests on this ocassion.

Ajay Singh Bisht president of Garhwal Hiteshni Sabha was instrumental in organising this encouraging event for budding intelligent students to enable them become future professionals and leaders. Diya & Ananya Thapliyal students of Cambridge school scored 90 plus marks in 12 & 10th CBSE Boards. Their Father Manjul Thapliyal is a Social Impact Consultant in the area of Education, Environment & Public Health at Visions Ahead Foundation and works extensively in Uttarpradesh & Uttarakhand and Mother Dr.( Prof.) Kavita Thapliyal is the chief Corporate Trainer & Professor of Cyber Phychology, Business Communication & Soft Skills at Amity University, Noida. Both Thapliyal sisters are best NCC cadets with Gold Medals and A Certificate.

Their origins are from Thapli Village near famous Jwalpa Devi Temple in Pauri Garhwal but are now based in Noida & Dehradun. Inspired by their outstanding parents the meritorious children follow their grandfather Col. K.N Thapliyal’s footsteps to serve the nation in the Army / IAS.

Meanwhile a delegation of some Garhwali poets n literary figures of Uttarakhand led by Dinesh Dhyani presented a memorandum to the undersecretary in PMO n former DM Rudraprayag etc IAS Mangesh Ghildiyal to use his good offices to include Garhwali, Kumaoni n Jaunsari dialects ( languages) in the 8 th schedule of the Constitution. Mr. Ghildiyal assured them to do the needful at his best.
