Dinesh Fadnis who played the role of Frederick in a two decades old popular television serial being aired on Sony Channel has breathed his last at the age of 57 in a Mumbai hospital being on Ventilator on December 4 as informed by his costar in the same TV serial Mr. Dayanand Shetty playing the role of Daya as CID sleuth. The tragic news of the untimely death of Dinesh Fadnis has sent shock waves in the entire entertainment industry especially in television circles. Late Dinesh Fadnis was a thorough screen actor and theatre artist who commenced doing theatre while in school enthusiastically involved in theatre productions. He was credited for playing different characters proving to be a versatile actor having involved himself in full time acting debuting in Faasle and thereafter in two decades old most popular serial CID being telecast in Sony entertainment channel. He also acted in number of movies, serials and theatre acts. Untimely passing away of a committed theatre artist, actor fully entrenched in acting leaving indelible mark in the minds and hearts of his friends and fraternity is a huge loss to the Indian television industry the vacuum of which would be dificult to be filled.
