The Film Dhurandar 2 which has broken all records of Bollywood earnings in India as well as globally has crossed a gross collection of Rs. 1000 crores in India and Rs. 1600 crores globally.
This is the first top rated film having earned so much breaking all records. The controvertial Film “Dhurandar 2, The Revenge” starting Ranvir Kapoor, Rajesh Bedi and several Good stars has broken all the box office records in just eighteen days after being released on on March 19. The impressive story and the dashing acting of stars in the film with extreme violence with controversial theme giving it a colour of spying thriller has impressed one and all especially the younger generation with majority of the people liking it and lot opposing it too, drawing conclusion from their own angles. Being a spy thriller full of violence ” Mar dhaad ” masaala, the movie has performed impresively outstanding collecting more than Rs 1000 crores roughly 1,213 within the last 19 days with global gross collection of Rs 1600 crores. This huge collection gives Dhurandhar a credit for being one of the largest earning movies in India. The collection from overseas market has been Rs 392 crores setting a unique new benchmark after Pushpa and Bahubali both the South film productions.
If we look at the chart of the earnings if the top super star Shahrukh Khan’s movies in the past which have been super duper hit they too have crossed the figure of one thousand crores globally but still remains behind from Dhurandhar 2, The Revenge. He us a look at the chart of Sharukh Khan Movies collections : Shahrukh Khan’s higest earning movie grossly ware “Jawan” and Pathan which did a magnificent busines worldwide. However, its esrmung were little less than Dhurandhar. Sharukh Khan’s both the above movies have crossed Rs. 1000 crores globally with Jawan collecting 1,17 grossly and Pathan Rs 1050. His other hit films like Chennai express , Happy New Year and Dilwale in in 2013, 2014 and 2915 dud a business of less than 424 crores.
