Dhirendra Pratap to meet Devendra Yadav on Wednesday on Lansdowne issue
The Uttarakhand, Incharge national Congress secretary Devendra Yadav has asked the vice president and spokesman of Uttarakhand Congress Dhirendra Pratap to meet him at AICC on Wednesday to keep him in good humour as Pratap was one of the aspirants from Lansdowne from where the daughter in law and former model and Miss India, Delhi n winner of other beauty contests Anukruti Gusain was made the Congress candidate after joining it just few days before.
The Vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Dhirendra Pratap was called by Devendra Yadav to discuss about the prevailing crisis in Lansdown constituency after giving the ticket to a new comer whose father in law former cabinet minister of Uttarakhand Dr. Harak Singh Rawat joined Congress with a pre condition to allot Lansdowne ticket to his daughter in law. Dhirendra Pratap said that though he has regards and affection for Anukriti Gusain for being an outstanding woman and a daughter in law of Dr. Rawat n that every one has the right to demand ticket in democracy but the interests and experience of other aspirants with a sound and sacrificial background fir the party fir several years can’t be ruled out. Dhirendra said that the twelve aspirants from Kotdwar had already written to the Congress high command that they will cumulatively work hard for the victory of the Congress candidate if one of them is selected by the election panel, but all in vain. He said it is really painful a decision. He hoped that his meeting with the Uttarakhand Incharge Devendra Yadav will be fruitful and will honour the aspirations of the people of Lansdowne judiciously, forthwith.
